Clutch plates
TRW-Lucas clutch plates are characterized by long durability and constant performance at high temperatures. The power transmission is guaranteed even in extreme applications.
- clutch plates are supplied as sets without intermediate plates. Exception:
A newcomer and frequent rider "Powerkit" (e.g. for BMW F650- MCC610PK). In this package, the friction discs are already combined with steel intermediate discs and form an overall reinforced unit. - Depending on the use or strength of the motor, different mixtures are used for the friction disks according to the original parts.
- Please retract clutch plates carefully to avoid glazing.
- Beware! Some synthetic oils increase the risk of clutch slippage.
- Some models are supplied with lamellas with a larger inside diameter. This specific measure has proven to be effective for easily slipping couplings.
- Tip:
Before installation, immerse clutch plates in engine oil for some time!
