Polini Maxi Hi-Speed series variator suitable for Piaggio Beverly, MP3 400 HPE Euro 5 vehicles (built from 2021 and up).
The Polini Maxi Hi-Speed variator is one of the most powerful in the maxi scooter range. Attention was paid here to the design of the roller tracks, which use the existing power band of the engine more optimally compared to the original variator. This means that the transmission ratio of the variator changes at a torque more favourable speed range. This results in increased acceleration and slightly more top speed.
The Polini variator can also be seen in terms of build quality and reliability. A sealed plain bearing with cleanly processed bearing bush significantly reduces the friction values and the dirt load in the sliding movement. Perfect shifting behaviour and longevity through reduced wear!
The enclosed 25x16mm - 17g variator roller weights have a coating of nylon and aramid fibres. The piston pin is made of chrome nickel steel with carbon-based DLC treatment.
Supplied as shown in the product picture with variator, a set of variator rollers, variator sleeve, inner variator spring and converter grease. Instructions are also included.
