The mixture is not a conventional organic mixture, it is based on graphite and silicone fibers embedded in an organic material consisting of between 12 and 18 components in particulate form. The back plate is pressed under heat and high pressure with the coating pressed so that no bubbles between plate and surface can occur. The Street Ceramic coverings are used on motorcycles use, which are not equipped by default with sintered metal brake pads. For example: Honda CN & CBs, Kawasaki en & Kzs, Suzuki GN & GSs, Yamaha XS & XJs and HDs. Combined with the HF front brake pads, LF coverings ensure stable and well balanced braking performance. To avoid crossbades on the rear wheel, the friction value of the LF coverings is slightly below the value of the HF coverings, comparable to the concept of original equipment. With ABE - program BS coating mixture for beginners, the Street Ceramic mixture, usable for most sports, touring and custom models, is the first choice for daily pendulum traffic and touring trips. These coverings are guaranteed asbestos and lead-free. By means of the UCT process, a uniform structure of the fibers is achieved when mixing the components for coating mixture and thus ensures consistently uniform consistency. The material consistency is one of the most important factors to obtain a stable and durable lining. Another important factor for the customer is of course the price. With this mixture, SBS complies with the two factors without pushing power limits when applied to wet or dry conditions.
