It is used to mount the split spherical bearing type NU204 on the crankshaft of the Vespa Smallframe models. The tool accommodates the separate bearing inner ring and thus enables a maximum of gentle assembly. We also recommend the use of a crankshaft wedge. This wedge is pushed between the crank webs and prevents a bending moment that could affect the press fit of the crankpin.
